I think it was a good futsal game. With two completely distinct parts. In the first half, Rio Ave was much better than Futsal Azeméis. My team simply didn't play, they were completely distracted from the futsal game. This team is experiencing moments that it never experienced in the first division, it is in third place alone in the Liga Sport Zone and it seems that this has affected us a little. The team entered listlessly, with no ideas for the game, without putting pressure on the ball, thinking it would be easy and Rio Ave took the lead and deservedly so and even if it had been one more goal or another it wouldn't have been surprising. But a completely different second part, then I saw my men, the usual warriors I usually have. A very fierce team, very supportive, doing what was asked of them and also anything else. I think that in the second half the team came together after a bad first half and played an excellent second half. And this result... there were few goals compared to those we should have scored in the second half, but also in the first half Rio Ave deserved to score more, so I think what happened within the four lines fits. Congratulations to my players for this excellent start to the season, which is not for everyone, a very young team, a team that recently arrived in the Liga Sport Zone, it is our second year... a young team, but a team with character and expertise, a hard-working and hard-working team. Therefore, congratulations to my players, who despite having had a lot of difficulties this week, as it was a week in which we hardly even trained, many athletes who were unable to train, injured athletes, very conditioned and this was reflected a little in today's game, but they had enormous character and for them this victory. Thank you very much for the effort you made for the symbol you wear on your chest.
Flávio Pinto (Assistant Coach) - It was an excellent futsal game. Ten goals represents quality. I think the game is actually divided into two parts. IN the first half I think Rio Ave was better... the result at half-time I think fits. And in the second half Azeméis was better. We were unable to react to Azeméis' tactical change and the game became chaotic and we were unable to respond in the best way. We still managed to draw 4-4 and then it was a game where the details would decide the game. Azeméis ended up winning, it could go either way and ended up falling to Azeméis. It was, above all, a great futsal game and we have to draw some lessons from this game, because we cannot be as competent as we were in the first and then a second half, which is unusual for our team. Congratulations to Azeméis on the victory and we must take this game as a lesson.
