A completely full pavilion (more or less 1,000 people), without dead spaces "NBA style", gave a lot of shine to a spectacle in which the players reciprocated with moves that defined the patented quality of the game. On the opponent I have to individualize the Piranha goalkeeper who, once again, prevented the score from getting bigger. Regarding the refereeing team, they did not award 2 (two) penalties against our player Leonel Dias (Lhé) and scored one against us, in a ball split between Carlos França and the opponent. On a disciplinary level, congratulations to all those involved, who came here just to play ball and not to complicate things. Great Futsal day, witnessed by directors of the Federation, I hope that they will actually transmit the true celebration to their superiors.
We lost against a team that is superior to us in terms of football, despite having already beaten them twice this season in the championship. We could counter this superiority with a great race, a great delivery, which is what we have been doing during the championship. However, at this moment, there is a marked physical breakdown in important parts of our team, which has not allowed us to put these vicissitudes on the field. Obviously, when this happens and we are playing against a team that is superior to us, our chances decrease considerably. To make matters worse, we were, at the last minute due to injury, deprived of our most distinguished player (Zeca), which led me to have to turn to a player who hadn't played for a month and a half and had only completed one training session (Adérito). If we already had little chance of countering the opponent's favoritism, we ended up with less. Freixieiro presented himself with great spirit, regardless of whether his players were a little nervous because it was a very important game for their aspirations, so much so that they took the game very seriously. The pavilion was super full, with a hellish atmosphere (in a good way). I wanted to highlight the extraordinary display of Lhé (Freixieiro) who broke all the dishes.
