Pedro Nobre: “We go to Fafe with great respect for our opponent but without giving up our identity”

SCU Torreense travel this Saturday, 17 October, to the Pavilhão do Grupo Nun’Álvares in Fafe, where they face GCR Nun’Álvares at 7pm, in a Matchday 4 fixture of the first phase of the Liga Feminina Placard.

Pedro Nobre, Torreense’s coach, talks about returning to an arena and a city he knows well.

“I return to an arena and a city where I was very happy and where I had the privilege of marking the start of this victorious journey for the club.”

As for the opponent, the coach highlights the quality of the Nun’Álvares squad.

“We will face the national runners-up, who have a squad full of quality, with several internationals and even world champions, very well coached by an experienced and highly competent manager.”

On his own team, Pedro Nobre talks about growth and identity.

“It is up to us to keep growing and show that we have the ambition and the quality to reach the goal set by the club, and we go to Fafe with great respect for our opponent but without giving up our identity.”
